I recently moved into a new apartment, located in the heart of Santa Rosa. I'm living with one girl, Kristina, who is also a studio art major at SSU with emphasis in photography, and one boy, Zechariah, who is an athiest death metal graphic design artist. We live in this three bedroom flat on the second story of this old blue house. I love it. The decor in our house consists of old antique chairs that don't match, lots of bones and real chicken wings everywhere, and many dream-catchers and old photographs and paintings litter the walls. It's beautiful.

I've been painting a lot. I am almost finished with my painting of Kurtis(see scrapbook). I've been working with acrylic, ink, and watercolor, and I feel like my creativity and inspiration are FINALLY back in full swing.I'm currently working on a self-portrait loosely based on a *gasp* nude photograph of myself. I've been focusing on capturing everyone else, and forgetting about myself. I'm hoping this will help clear my head with all the stress I've been encountering, and really just help tune myself in again.

Last week I was commisioned to produce a portrait based on a picture of this man when he was 19(see scrapbook). He loved it, and I loved the idea of getting paid to paint. I did ink on 11x14" paper. I was not particularly fond of the finished product, but I feel that it was because I didn't chose to do this particular piece--it was chosen for me. I suppose this could be considered a rude awakening to the life of being an artist who actually makes a living off art.

Within the last month of being back on my own again I have really REALLY learned the definition of STARVING ARTIST. haha I think I've slimmed down to an all-time-low. Luckily all my regular gym-goers are kind and take good care of me. I've been doing a lot of rad photoshoots for models that work/work-out at my gym. Building their portfolios and mine. The best part is, I GET PAID. haha

Incase that wasn't enough updates for you, I've begun working at Applebee's in addition to 24 hour fitness.
Two full-time jobs and a full-time class load. WOO-HOO.
